How do Credit Unions get Great Audit Results?
If you’re spending money on new auditing tools, you’ll want to know that the money you spend is actually doing something for your credit union. To better discern what Redboard’s impact is, we have a few evaluative questions to help you gauge Redboard’s efficacy.

Accountability

Do you see an increase in accountability?

One of the primary functions of Redboard is to bring accountability to the fore of the auditing process.

Audits require effort from a lot of people. It’s almost as though each person is tasked with bringing a set of puzzle pieces to the table. Each person involved must not only bring those pieces, but they’re responsible for putting them together on their own, and then making sure that their section fits in with everybody else’s section. By the time everything is due, there should be a complete puzzle. Or picture.

If one person doesn’t bring all their pieces to the table, or can’t make their section fit in with the whole, then there’s a problem. Similarly, if one person in the credit union doesn’t deliver all required documents, or turns some in late, then your audit can’t be completed.

Part of Redboard’s function is to keep track of all the pieces required to make the puzzle whole. If something is missing, or late, or otherwise not quite in keeping with the rest of the picture, Redboard lets you know.

The first criterion on which we hope credit unions evaluate Redboard is by the way it holds people accountable. Simply by providing the information needed in order to hold people accountable, Redboard stands a cut above traditional means of organization and collaboration.

Ease of Use

When we created Redboard, one of our primary goals was to make an auditing tool that was easy to use.

There are other auditing tools in the world. Some of those tools are as simple (or as complicated) as a spreadsheet. We wanted to set ourselves apart from any similar solutions by ensuring extreme ease of use and comfortable user experience.

In our opinion, it’s possible to deliver software that might increase functionality, or that offers more specialized services tailored to your specific credit union. We acknowledge that IT departments in some credit unions could, with sufficient resources, create their own version of Redboard. However, what we can offer that we think nobody else on the market can is ease of use.

Redboard requires no special training or expertise. All it takes is a short instructional video, and then anybody in the credit union could use it.

We hope that credit unions who try Redboard take note of its intuitive design, robust functionality, and risk mitigation.

Results

The results of Redboard should speak for themselves. Software that holds team members accountable, or software that’s easy to use aren’t the actual reason people license Redboard. People use Redboard because it delivers results: we increase functionality and collaboration while mitigating risk. More importantly, we make audits a breeze.

We like to check in with Redboard’s users over time. We make sure that people like the software and that they appreciate the results they get from it. Ultimately, we measure our success by the positive results we see. We hope that you’ll come to the same conclusion that many other credit unions have: that Redboard is more than worth the cost. Everything else is just a cherry on top.
